Berkshire Nautilus-Class Descriptions

 

        STEP EXPRESS

A 30 minute high energy ½ hr. cardio workout

  PUMP EXPRESS

 

A 1/2 hr. full body strength workout using kettle bells, body bars, dumbbells and/or tubing.

SPINNING

Dim the lights & Cycle to music while simulating hills, flat roads etc. for a great cardio workout.

 

Basic Wgts/Abs&Wgts

Core Training

These are different variations of weight training classes.

 

TRIPLE THREAT

Kettle bells plus Bosu plus Medicine Balls = maximum calorie burn

 

KICKBOXING

KICK & CORE

 

Cardio kickboxing combines aerobics and boxing moves with additional emphasis on abs for the core class.

TREADMILL SPEED TRAINING

Training on the treadmills in a class setting. Class is designed to increase your overall fitness level as well as improve your running.

PILATES

 

Pilates mat exercises. Focus is on the development of the stabilizing core muscles while remaining in proper alignment.

ZUMBA/

ZUMBA TONING

An aerobic dance class set to Latin & other international music

The Zumba toning infuses targeted body sculpting exercises to create a calorie burning, strength training combo.

H.I.T

KICK MEETS H.I.T

 

High Intensity Interval Training-3min. interval, followed by recovery.

Intervals of cardio kickboxing and high intensity training.

30/30

30 minutes of low impact aerobics and 30 minutes of step.

20/20/20

 

20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes physioball, and 20 minutes of pilates.

M.I.T

Mixed Interval Training is held in the group exercise room. The

class consists of fairly intense cardio work, with quick moving weight work.

BOOT CAMP

Moderate to high intensity workout designed to improve body composition, strength, endurance and flexibility.

 

YOGA

Hatha yoga. Class length varies. Check the schedule for time.

 

STEP/WEIGHTS

 

 

Step alternating with basic weight lifting for a cardio/weight workout.
